Teacher....
In all of my classes I have asked students to write me a letter in answer to certain questions I wrote on the board, like where are you from, etc. Here's how one student started out her letter: "Firstly, I warmly welcome you to come to our country. Mr. H____ has mentioned that you will come to our school, and he also mentioned about your laugh, it's pretty cute, sounds like Father Christmas."

I love your laugh also. We have laughed all through our lives, when you are around. Remember when dad stopped preaching, because you and I had a string around our necks (in the back row) and couldn't get it off. The longer dad waited, the more we laughed.
Oh, well, we sure have had lots of fun. Glad they like your laugh also. I do miss that....
You will be used so much by Hovah, just with your great personality. So glad I have been part of your life.
Love you James,
Shirley and Howie toooooo

Glad you cawt it, George, or should I say "caught"!
I have to agree, Jim, you have a wonderful, contagious laugh....a reflection of its Giver, I'm sure.
It's interesting, Donna. I never thought of myself before as having a "wonderful, contagious laugh". I used to be more serious, but over the years have learned to bring more laughter into my life, which makes life more enjoyable for me. Years ago I started learning more about laughter from a colleague I had at a shelter for runaway teens. Marilyn could look at a serious situation (believe me, we were dealing with them) and find some humor, which I finally realized was not her laughing at it, but using humor as a way to lighten things up and yet take the situation seriously at the same time. I'll be forever grateful to her!
