He did it again....

Yesterday I visited my American colleague and his wife in Harbin, who teaches at another university, as well, and lives on campus. When it was getting past 6:30 in the evening I knew I had to start heading out fast to catch the bus back to Hulan District where I live. I had been told the last bus leaving the city was around 7:30. And from what I understood I was a good half-hour from the terminal to catch it. My friends live on a huge campus (40-50 thousand students). Only one entrance in and out and taxis are not allowed on grounds unless bringing someone in. As we hit the campus streets looking for one, none in sight. Thoughts start racing through my head. Am I going to make it to the bus on time??!! Am I going to end up taking a taxi all the way to my campus (probably 15x the cost of a bus). This will be interesting. A prayer or two, midst my anxiety. Finally a car passes and then stops up ahead. Walking back to us is one of my colleague's students from that university. When he found out my plight, he told me to get in and they would help me get a cab at the university entrance. "You're an angel from God to me!" I exclaim to him as we drove off. Finally arriving at the gate we find no taxi immediately available. He takes my arm and walks me across the street, waves down a taxi, telling the driver where I need to go. But will I now make it to the bus on time? After 20 or 25 minutes the terminal comes in view.....only one bus #213 (my bus) waiting to take passengers, probably the last for the day. With a sigh of relief I board, find a seat (which were all taken within 5 minutes), and gave thanks as I thought about how He keeps taking care of me!
