Pepsi!

There I was sitting in the Dining Hall enjoying my bowl of vegetables and noodles for lunch yesterday when suddenly a student appears with a cup of Pepsi.....for me! Since I've been fighting off a cold, that wasn't quite what I needed, but graciously I accepted, and after a couple gulps over time, I contributed the remainder to the environs.

Q is not one of my students. Rather, one day when seeing me, he caught my attention with "hello", and since we have had several brief chats whenever he has seen me on campus. I'm told many students would like to talk to me, but are afraid their English is too inadequate. Q, however, appears to one of those who are not constricted by self-consciousness, always appearing with a ready smile.

This experience just gives you another picture of how well I am being treated by many students.
