The frigid weather we've been having lately is getting me prepped for winter in Harbin. Here I am outside a little shed at my place with the winter gear: LL Beans warmest down parka (and it does the job!), a Mad Bomber hat from my niece's husband (Dave), and Gortex mittens. Then there's my "Harbin Boots" (Merrell's insulated). I wanted a pair that looked half-way decent to wear during the day in my classes.
